What is Vaser High Definition liposculpting

VASER ® Hi Def LipoSculpture was pioneered and developed by renowned Colombium cosmetic surgeon Dr Afredo Hoyos, who over the years has performed over 1500 Hi-Def Cases. In the last few months Vaser Hi-Def has taken the US by storm (click here to see US press on Hi-Def).

Essentially Vaser Hi-Def is the combination of art and medical science. 

Art; by recognizing how the anatomy of skin, fat and muscle contributes to the sculptured appearance of the human form and a clear understanding of the relationship of superficial anatomy and physical appearance, this is vital in order to achieve perfected results. 

In men the general perception of male beauty has barely changed since Michelangelo’s David, i.e. strong, prominant pectorals and upper arms, demarcated abdominal flanks, a six pack,  V shaped muscular prominence tapering into the groin, and strong defined upper and lower back and buttocks.

In women the perfect shape is little more complex as in this day and age there is not one ideal shape that universally applies to all women, the general perception of a beautiful youthful female body tends to fall into three broad categories, athletic, slim, and sexy/curvy. Which one applies to you, is partly determined by your natural underlying bony and muscular structure, but by also your preference. The pre op consultation is therefore extremely important when realizing women's goals. Careful explanation, examination and photographs are used to discuss your options. Broadly speaking HiDef on women tends to forces on, the buttocks, upper thighs, small of the back, love handles, and abdomen.

Medical science;  the vaser probe is vital to Hi-Def. The Vaser probe in around 3-mm in diameter and emits a state of the art ultrasonic fat specific wave, thereby greatly reducing trauma to other surrounding soft tissues. Once local anesthetic is administered into the treatment area through small hidden incisions the probe its introduced into the fat. The vaser Probe allows the fat to be prepared like an artist clay through emulsification so that the doctor can sculpt the muscular anatomy with gentle aspiration. It is these specific and patented techniques pioneered by  the Vaser HiDef training program that differentiate Vaser Hi-Def from other similar treatments and make these remarkable results possible. Whilst traditional Vaser and Laserlipo ( smartlipo) are effective at removing fat with minimal trauma they simply cannot achieve the athletic sculptured look made possible with Vaser Hi-Def. 

Intramuscular autologous fat transfer or Macrolane injections in the areas that need more volume (e.g., the pectorals in males or the gluteal region in females) have also helped patients to achieve their goal of a more athletic, muscular appearance.
