To date breast augmentation procedures include traditional fat transfer, hyaluronic acid injection ( macrolane) and insertion of a bag prosthesis ( implant) With Stem cell ( ADR cell) augmentation the cells are derived from the patient, therefore there is no concern of foreign body reactions such as tissue rejections and/or encapsulation as sometimes encountered with implants and macrolane.
Fat transfer is a relatively straight forward treatment using the fat from liposuction. Although traditional fat transfer has been refined over the years, unfortunately this treatment continues to have problems, usually due to the transferred fat breaking down due to its inability to integrate and survive in the breast. This degradation is often significant ( up to 70% of the transplanted fat) thereby resulting in unpredictable results, duration and often calcified hard lumps and fatty cysts. With this new treatment the transplanted stem and vascular cells within the transplanted cells grow into new fat and blood vessels. Thus integrating naturally into the surrounding breast tissue. This results in nearly 100% retention and minimal degradation.
