What are the side-effects?

Most people report ache for a  few days and occasional mild bruising. You may also experience some swelling, especially during the first few days. You will be able to leave the clinic straight after your treatment but we usually advise home rest for the rest of the day and the following day. If you choice to have iv sedation you must arrange for some-one to escort you home. You should be able to return to your day to day non-strenuous activities after this time. We advise refraining from strenuous sporting activities for 2-3 weeks.

The majority of swelling, discomfort and any bruising generally subsides within 2-3 weeks.
