We all want to look good as we get older, and men are no exception. However, while the demand for cosmetic surgery is increasing, there have also been major developments in non-surgical and minor surgical procedures that help combat signs of aging. These minimally invasive treatmente are termed cosmetic medical procedures. Thanks to their safety and effectiveness, these walk-in, walk-out procedures have become extremely popular over the past few years. However, the decision to have any medical cosmetic procedure - surgical or medical - can be a difficult one. And the fact that there are so many new clinics opening up and offering a variety of different services doesn't always help. Many men are understandably confused where to go for advice.
At Hans Place Practice, we have a special interest in medical cosmetic procedures, and have done for several years. Indeed, our own Dr Mike Comins is a leading practitioner in this field, having performed literally thousands of the procedures we offer. Dr Comins, is the President of the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors. He is on the faculty for the Diploma of Cosmetic Medicine and an Associate Clinical teacher in cosmetic medicine at Leicester university school of medicine.
